Danny Diatribe is Irish hip hop artist Danny Lynch from Derry City in the north of Ireland. Now based in Manchester UK, Danny has been performing among the thriving Manchester music scene. Being a regular in hip hop circles, he was a mainstay at the legendary Manchester hip hop night In The Loop and has collaborated with some of the best names in UK and Irish hip hop.

Since being in the UK, he has worked with Producers like Pro. P on his 2016 release Elevation Illustrations, which included features from UK artists such as Herrotics, D’Lyfa Reilly, The Bluntskins, Black Josh, Tony Skank, and Legion. His influences range from Kool G Rap to the Pogues and has been described as “a Christy Moore of the Wu Tang variety.” The album had tracks featured on radio stations worldwide from BBC Radio in the UK to Chuck D’s Rap Station Radio in New York. His music has been featured in Wordplay Magazine (UK) Word is Bond (USA) and Itch FM (UK). Danny has moved crowds at music events and festivals across Europe including Holland, UK, Ireland and France where he played with main-stage festival fan favorites The Celtic Social Club.

He is one of the only Irish Hip Hop acts to have supported House of Pain, joining them on their UK tour and has received critical acclaim from blogs and music sites world wide. This year Diatribe has teamed up with DJ Cutterz from the Taste The Diff’rence crew and drummer Ryan Dyson (live) on a collection of tracks called “Tales From the Down and Outs”,  a concept album detailing the lives of characters based in and around places where he lives in Manchester which he describes as “Hip Hop, James Joyce style.”
